Anouk Dijkstra, MSc
My name is Anouk and I am involved in the Preschool Brain Imaging and Behaviour Project’, also known as PIP, a research assistant. One of the aims of this study is to map the differences in brain development and behaviour in a large group of young children, including children with autism, ADHD and developmental delay. In this study, I help with the recruitment of families and the data collection during the test days.
In addition, I also work as a research assistant on the ‘Longitudinal European Autism Project’, also known as LEAP, which takes place in the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging. The aim of this study is to investigate the vast diversity of autism across development and identify factors that contribute to differences in brain development, difficulties in social behaviour and other core symptoms of autism. We recently started the third wave of this research. During the test days I am involved in the administration of the various measurements and tasks.
