The Language in Interaction Consortium (LiI) is pleased to announce the Highlights in the Language Sciences Conference 2024<\/em><\/strong>, celebrating the conclusion of our 10-year Gravitation Programme and the advances made in language-related disciplines including genetics, neuroscience, psychology, linguistics and computational modeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference will take place 8-11 July 2024<\/strong> at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. We are putting together an exciting programme with top-level key experts in the relevant fields of research. Confirmed speakers include David Poeppel (NYU, Strungmann Institute, Frankfurt), Ghislaine Dehaene-Lambertz (CNRS Paris), Vera Demberg (Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes), Uri Hasson (Universiy of Princeton), Barbara Kaup (University T\u00fcbingen), Tal Linzen (NYU). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration and attendance of the conference is free of charge, and will open in October 2023. Abstract submission for the poster session will open in October as well. Further details will be announced on our website: www.languageininteraction.nl<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Language in Interaction<\/em> is a consortium of researchers at Dutch universities and research institutes (including the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation, (UvA); the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics; the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour; among others).  <\/strong>The LiI consortium has acquired substantial experience in addressing a series of Big Questions (BQs) in language-related disciplines, uniquely combining diverse fields, including genetics, neuroscience, psychology, linguistics and computational modeling (as summarized in the consortium book: Hagoort (Ed.), Human Language: from genes and brains to behavior<\/em>, MIT Press, 2019).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
